Sergio Carbone is an executive consultant and has led an engineering and technology consulting business for over 18 years. He held long-term leadership consulting positions with International SOS, IKEA, Merck & Co., Astra Zeneca, and IMS Health. He has been a CIO for a fully-owned subsidiary of Merck & Co., Global Chief Architect, and CTO Information Products. Sergio has extensive experience in various business areas such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, customs, distribution, retail point-of-sale, logistics and supply chain management, security, travel-security, insurance, and automotive dealership management systems.

Sergio is an experienced international technology leader and is known for his management of multi-functional, high-performing teams built from both on and offshore team members. These teams consistently meet objectives and always make their dates. He is proven in multi-million dollar deliveries, and technology strategy. He is an excellent enterprise architect and has a deep understanding of master data management, mobility, infrastructure, information security, and cloud technologies. Sergio intersects these assets with his business experience and leadership to yield uncommon results. Notably, Sergio led Vree Health Engineering to be awarded the Information Builders 2015 Award of Distinction, recognizing innovative use of technology.

Sergio regularly is invited to speak at well attended technology conferences on master data management and business intelligence. Two of his recent engagements include the 2015 Gartner Enterprise Information & Master Data Management Summit (Las Vegas) and the Information Builders Summit 2015 (Orlando). Sergio is a senior adjunct professor in computer science at Montgomery County Community College and is a committee chairperson for the Boy Scouts of America.
